On the 17th and 18th June the annual 100ks For A Cure event is taking place for the 9th year! Head over to the The Golden Octopus 100ks for a CURE Facebook page and find out all the details, you can register as an individual or a team. MagnetiCon - Townsville Pop Culture Event is on the 2nd and 3rd of July and it is going to be HUGE! MagnetiCon hopes to bring Townsville it's first ever pop culture convention utilising local artists, cosplayers and volunteers. Guests currently booked include Comic artists Dean Rankine, Wayne Nichols and Mark Lauthier. Cosplay stars Twerkin Gherkin, Evey Dantes Cosplay and Brisbane's 11th Doctor Liam McLeod. On the 3rd and 4th of August 2018 the annual 100ks For A Cure event is taking place for the 11th year thanks to the unwavering support and dedication of the event founder and organiser Brad Perry.
Join us as we walk to raise funds for childhood cancer research and support.
The walk will start in Ravenswood on the afternoon of the 3rd August and will finish at the Commercial Hotel in Ayr on the 4th August taking between 24 - 30 hours to complete.
